Born in Youngstown,
Ohio, Nancy Wilkoff was educated at Ferry Hall at Lake Forest,
Illinois and attended Youngstown State University. There she
studied art with Jon Naberezny, Chair of the Art Department.
Prior to attending YSU, Nancy studied privately for five
years with Margaret Evans, retired Head of the YSU Art
Department and former Director of the Butler Institute of
American of Art. Though essentially small color and design
seminars held at her home, these weekly discussions encouraged relentless yet civil
critiques of each other’s work.
Spanning the years in
Youngstown; Ann Arbor, Michigan; then finally Tucson for the
last twenty seven, Nancy has explored various mediums,
participated in critique sessions and generally, followed her
curiosities wherever they have led.
Nancy is a Signature Member of the National
Collage Society.
